Dr. Trang Vu has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology where she focused her research on the mechanisms of nuclear receptors in breast and colon cancers. After receiving her doctorate degree, Dr. Vu worked as a consultant for many agricultural companies including those in the farming, poultry, seed, and cattle industries. At the beginning of covid, she left consulting to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a poultry farmer. She currently still owns and operates a 100-acre poultry farm, raising more than 6 million pounds of meat per year. As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Vu seeks to transform astraeabio.com into an industry leader in the field of multiplexing multi-omics analysis.
Dr. Shamini Ayyadhury is a Computational Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, Canada, where her research is centered on adult glioblastoma. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience from McGill University (Montreal), a Master’s in Integrative Neuroscience from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore.
Her scientific journey spans globally recognized institutions, including Nanyang Technological University, the National Neuroscience Institute, the Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (ASTAR), and the Singapore Immunology Network (ASTAR). With a versatile background that bridges computational method development, experimental design, and high-dimensional imaging analysis, Dr. Ayyadhury brings a rare blend of technical depth and creative scientific leadership.
She is the Founding Director of Panoramics – A Vision, a pan-Canadian spatial and single-cell working incubator and thought leadership collective. Under her guidance, Panoramics has emerged as a vibrant hub for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in the spatial biology space.
As Chief Technology Officer of AB, her vision is to elevate data analysis from mechanical execution to an inspired creative process—one that merges best practices, strategic application, and meaningful interpretation. She is driven to build a roadmap that not only sets the highest standards for spatial biological data consulting, but also positions AB as a trailblazer in the field, where scientific excellence meets visionary impact.

Dr. Trevor McKee has a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from MIT, and has spent the last two and a half decades applying computer vision techniques to the analysis of biomedical images. He spent 14 years as director of the STTARR Innovation Centre Image Analysis Core, where he led a team of programmers to develop quantitative analysis methods of spatial biology datasets spanning brightfield, multiplex and imaging mass cytometry images. He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications in these fields, and is a part of the JEDIS council – Joint Effort to Develop Immunofluorescence Standards – working to move modern multiplex staining methods to routine clinical use.
Arzu is a biologist with a strong foundation in genomics, bioinformatics, and molecular genetics. I hold BSc and MSc degrees in Biology, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Computer Programming, bringing an interdisciplinary skill set to life sciences with nearly 10 years of research experience across biological life, and health sciences. Arzu’s expertise spans spatial biology, NGS, single-cell transcriptomics, molecular diagnostics, and data-driven cancer research. Arzu is passionate about turning complex biological data into meaningful insights through computational tools and statistical methods. Currently, Arzu’s focus is on biological data analysis and contributing to spatial biology projects. Arzu additionally supports Panoramics – A Vision as a Data & Marketing Analyst, helping develop digital platforms, analyze multi-omics data, and engage the scientific community.
Sana is a Research Analyst and Scientific Communicator at AstraeaBio, where she combines my background in computational biology and multiomics research with a passion for discovery and meaningful communication. As a self-taught computational biologist with a Master’s in Molecular Genetics, Sana bring a deep understanding of biology to the data she works with. Over the years, she has contributed to diverse projects, from high-throughput omics data analysis to crafting scientific narratives, always aiming to bridge complex findings with real-world impact. Sana believes every dataset holds a story that can drive change, spark new questions, and expand our understanding of life.
